Preface

The practice of Grof Legacy Training involves work with non-ordinary states of consciousness. We subscribe to the value of self-examination to promote personal growth in ethics. We subscribe to the principle of giving and receiving feedback from each other to maintain integrity in the GLT community. Practitioners keep these agreements to avoid behavior that may be exploitative to participants and may bring injury to the larger GLT community.

Agreements

    1. We commit ourselves as practitioners to practice GLT within the framework of our training and competences.
    2. We commit ourselves to be open to give to and receive feedback from other GLT practitioners in relation to upholding these agreements.
    3. We will maintain confidentiality regarding participants within the legal framework of the country in which the workshop is held. Confidentiality is extended to include the team.
    4. We create a safe set and setting for participants.
    5. As certified and qualified facilitators, we provide ethical guidance to our apprentices while they are under our supervision.
    6. As researchers, educators, and authors we are dedicated to presenting accurate information and to citing our sources wherever possible.
    7. We are aware that dual relationships may be exploitative sexually, emotionally, spiritually, economically, hierarchically, or ideologically. Should such a situation arise, we agree to be open about it and seek advice from our peers.
    8. Facilitators refrain from engaging in intimate sexual relationships with participants.
    9. We seek appropriate professional assistance for personal problems or conflicts that may impair our work performance or professional judgment.
    10. We respect the emotional, physical, mental, and spiritual autonomy of participants. We support them to choose freely to experience Grof Breathwork and Psychedelic Therapy, follow suggestions, and accept physical interventions.
    11. We maintain clear and honest business practices, including making agreements regarding appointments, workshop times and fees.
    12. In establishing the rates for our services, we consider participants’ financial situation.
